The second generation of the lightweight Trooper jacket from Helikon made of nylon fabric. It provides insulation and protection against wind and light rain. The jacket aids air circulation so that, well, it wicks away accumulated moisture and sweat ensuring a dry feeling during activity. It was designed for people who need a solid softshell layer while spending time outdoors.

The Trooper jacket is made from a combination of nylon and elastane in a 99% to 1% propocity. This material has great insulating properties, and thanks to the addition of elastane, the jacket fits snugly and restrains movement. The new anatomical cut adapts to the user's movements, and reinforcements on the elbows increase the jacket's durability. When folded, it takes up very little space in a hiking backpack.

Four functional pockets allow you to easily and conveniently carry the accessories you need, such as a notebook, pen or winter hat or gloves. The arrangement is two on the chest and one on each shoulder. The shoulder pockets have an external Velcro panel to which you can attach 3D PVC patches, for example. The pockets are left fully accessible while wearing the backpack.

The hood has a customizable fit and an extended visor to shield the face from precipitation. The generous hood can be conveniently adjusted with drawstrings hidden in the chest pockets. The extended cut shields the kidney area, so the wearer is less likely to get cold and windblown.

The jacket also protects against the penetration of cold wind, and against getting soaked, making it ideal for outerwear on the way to work or during outdoor activities, for example. All zippers of the Trooper jacket are from the renowned YKK® company. On colder days, the jacket can be treated as an outer layer by wearing warmer layers underneath.
