Helikon - Urban Tactical Shorts 8.5'' - PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop - Rhodesian Camo - SP-UTS-SP-1K

The UTS Shorts Pants® is a shortened version of Helikon's Urban Tactical Pants, tailored for use in hot climates and offering even more ergonomic movement.

The shorts are made of very good quality Stretch Ripstop fabric, consisting of cotton and polyester with a blend of elastic spandex, which makes them very stretchy and does not restrict movement in any plane. The pants have an elastic waistband and Velcro closure, so the wearer can easily adjust the fit.

The UTS short pants® have as many as 10 pockets to carry essential gear. The two front Velcro-fastened pockets are large enough to hold an AR/AK magazine. Side pockets are zippered, so you can carry valuables without risk of losing them. In the rear large pockets, there is one narrow pocket used to carry a flashlight or a pistol magazine.

The manufacturer in front and rear pockets introduced additional reinforcements of edges, through to which they are more resistant to intensive insertion of clips e.g. from knives.

Tactical pants in the legendary Rhodesian camouflage, which gained fame during the Rhodesian Bush War 1964 - 1979. It was used by Rhodesian soldiers and is associated especially with elite units such as Selous Scouts, Rhodesian SAS, Rhodesian Light Infantry (RLI), or Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR). It is derived from the brushstroke camouflage used on the British Denison Smock parachute jackets, then adapted to the colors of the local bush and the conditions in the Zambezi River area and in the territory of present-day Zimbabwe. It is a kind of cult symbol of effectiveness in fighting communist partisans.
