The maximum range of BF-25E radios depends on the terrain conditions. In ideal conditions it can be up to 10 km . The average range, when operating in an area with obstacles, will be about 4-6 km. The capacious battery allows operation for up to 18 hours on a single charge.
A backlit LCD display has been provided for easy channel selection. The radios are also equipped with clips, allowing them to be carried at the waist or on a vest. The walkie-talkies also have a built-in LED flashlight, which can serve as an emergency light source.
