Description
A compact Survival radio with many practical features from Fosco Industries. It has its own power supply in the form of a built-in 1200 mAh lithium-ion battery. In addition, it is possible to power the radio with three AAA batteries. When the built-in battery needs to be recharged, the user can use the USB-C port, crank or solar panel.
In the case of charging through the crank, the dynamo needs to be spun clockwise for a longer period of time, for the panel a longer period of full sunlight is required. The crank allows you to recharge at your leisure while the panel, due to the available power, will work more in a supplementary role. The housing of the device is made of polymer in a distinctive, easily distinguishable color.
The user can receive radio waves from AM/FM starting to SW1/SW2 ending. A total of four ranges covering a wide spectrum of frequencies are available. A single speaker provides sufficient sound amplification, in addition to the unit's emergency siren broadcast mode, which is very loud. The selection of the mode of operation or radio wave reception is done via separate sliders, while volume control is done via a dial.
Interface ports for plugging in USB-C charging, 3.5mm Jack headphones and USB-A within the powerbank are hidden under a rubber cap that shields them from dirt. A wrist lanyard will allow you to carry the radio comfortably, literally at hand. If needed, the lanyard can be hooked with a carabiner to a belt loop or simply carried inside a hiking backpack.
