Description
An insulated poncho that performs five different functions from Helikon. As one piece of equipment, it can be a poncho liner, a lightweight sleeping bag, a sleeping bag liner, a hiking blanket or a hammock liner. Its outer fabric is made of Windpack® nylon material, whose inner space is filled with Climashield®'s Apex™ insulation.
Although its main feature is to insulate the user from heat loss, the Swagman Roll poncho will dry quickly when wet thanks to the properties of the Windpack material. The ability to fasten elastic bands allows the poncho to be transformed into an Anorak jacket. The hood has a raised top, allowing the wearer to shield the neck, and a beaded stopper will allow the opening to be narrowed when worn.
The poncho can also be fully unfolded, so that in addition to the function of a blanket, the user gets insulation from the surface on which he is placed. In addition, even after unfolding, access to the pocket is as open as before. The front pocket with a loop for attaching a carabiner, and in addition to space for storing a map, equipment or gloves, also serves as a self-supporting cover for the entire poncho.
It can be used at the same time as a standard poncho, thus increasing its water resistance and level of body heat retention. The YKK zipper will come in handy when the user uses the poncho as a lightweight sleeping bag. The design of the Swagman Roll poncho was developed to fulfill multiple tasks at the same time without compromising the primary one, that of a warm covering.
