Description
Modern AEMS Red Dot sight with a red aiming point is designed for mounting on a long weapon.
Red dot sight uses the Multi-Reticle System, thanks to which the user can choose one of three types of aiming point - a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle or both. The user can adjust the brightness of the aiming point - there are 8 day modes and 4 dedicated to night vision devices.
AEMS has a high-quality LED diode powered by a CR203 battery and a solar cell, which increases the battery life or with sufficiently intense light it can be the only source of power. The working time of the red dot sight on one battery is up to 50,000 hours depending on the selected brightness mode.
The Shake Awake system, which the red dot sight is equipped, puts the device into a sleep mode during a longer inactivity, and when it detects a small movement, it restarts it.
Durable 7075 T6 aluminum was used to make the housing in the red dot sight, which protects the device against shocks with a force of 1000 G. AEMS has an IPX8 waterproof standard.
The lenses in the red dot sight are protected by transparent covers, which do not change the image quality and enable aiming. The device in the set is equipped with a 1/3 Co-Witness assembly.

Yes, in the case of enclosed red dot sights with the emitter at 4 o'clock, the lens must be tilted to properly reflect light towards the user's eyes.
