The 5'' Deluxe Ceramic rod is an original replacement for Lansky sharpeners. The 800 (fine) grit is used in the last stage of sharpening to polish the cutting edge and give it final sharpness.

The rod can be used in Lansky sharpening systems or as a stand-alone whetstone that you can take camping.
