The SUL hiking hammock, whose acronym Super Ultra Light refers to its extremely low weight, while maintaining high strength. Achieving the hammock's weight of 175 g was made possible, through the use of Monofil mesh. This is a rip-stop weave nylon fabric that is naturally airy and transparent, allowing the user to enjoy visibility and thermal comfort on a hot day.
The usable dimensions of the hammock are 300 x 145 cm, and it will easily accommodate a person with a height of up to 190 cm and a weight of up to 150 kg. Using the SUL hammock, the user will significantly reduce the weight of his outdoor equipment. In addition, having a hammock you can isolate yourself from the ground, which can be useful in a situation where the ground in the forest has not had time to dry out after rainfall for the evening.
Included with the hammock, the user receives a SNEKA UL suspension. It includes Dyneema webbing and mounting pegs. The whole thing is packed in a crimped pouch, also made of rip-stop weave fabric. In addition, the carrying pouch has openings on two sides, the opening of which can be adjusted with beaded stopper strings.
Aluminum pegs are an even lighter mounting element than snap hooks, bringing the total weight of the kit to 310 grams. The 20mm wide ladder strap has woven rungs instead of sewn in, which positively translates into overall durability. The adjustment range is from 3 to 300 cm, and the adjustment itself is done by plugging a pin into the set rung and attaching a Dyneema fabric loop to it.
