Description
The Z-8N GTX® C tactical boot from LOWA is designed for users who need rugged support in demanding terrain - from uniformed services to outdoor enthusiasts. This model combines the stability of high-mountain boots with the lightness and flexibility of patrol footwear, making it a versatile choice for off-road activities, special operations or heavy-duty marching.
The ankle-length upper is made of durable 2.2mm water-repellent nubuck leather and Cordura® for added durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The GORE-TEX® MS Light Rock membrane used provides water resistance while maintaining a high level of breathability, protecting feet from getting wet.
The PU foam midsole with DuraPU® technology guarantees cushioning and comfort even with prolonged use, while the Monowrap® construction provides additional lateral stability. A special midsole protects against abrasion during fast-rope descents. The Climate Control insole protects the foot from moisture and the formation of corns. The LOWA Tactical Z TRAC® sole provides traction on a variety of surfaces.
The shoe has a category C hardness according to the LOWA rating, which means a high level of support in difficult, rocky terrain. A hook-and-loop and closed-eye binding system allows the shoe to fit precisely to the foot, while a stiffened heel counter aids in motion control.
A loop at the back of the shoe makes it easy to put on and take off. They meet the EN ISO 20347:2012 standard, and this model is anti-static. To preserve their longer life, it is worthwhile to impregnate and care for them with dedicated products.
