Description
Flexible gear ties with multifunctional use when sorting out your equipment from Nite Ize. The practicality of the Gear Tie is based on a simple construction made with highly durable materials. The primary function of it, is to tie down individual pieces of gear, for example, loose cables or to secure a thermal cup or thermos on a backpack.
The gear tie consists of three components - a metal core, a polymer coating and tips. The wire guided inside the cable is responsible for maintaining the set shape, while the weather-resistant polymer coating allows the item to be wrapped securely around it. The Twist Tie™ is designed to help you sort out your equipment, and when you're done, it can be restored to its original state for reuse.
The polymer used is similar in its characteristics to rubber, which makes it have an extremely high grip. In addition, other useful items can be made from them, limited only by the user's imagination. An interesting example of use could be a simple hanger that allows you to hang items of clothing on branches or other surfaces without visible hooks.
Note: This product is not intended as a safety item when climbing.
