Description
Practical Actik flashlight with a maximum light output of up to 450 lm on battery power from Petzl. It has a wide and narrow beam to adjust the way it illuminates a space. To power the flashlight, it uses the Hybrid Concept system, which allows the use of three AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries or a dedicated Core battery.
In addition to being worn as a classic headlamp, it can be worn around the neck or slung over a crossbar and fitted with a pouch diffuser. This will create a gently dampened illumination, acting as a compact lantern. The device has its own power level indicator in the form of an LED with green, orange and red colors. The flashlight is operated by pressing or holding the button at the top of the housing.
The device has a total of five lighting modes, three for white light and two for red light. The maximum illumination power varies depending on the power supply used. For three AAA batteries it will be 450 lm and 100 m of range, while for the dedicated Core battery it is 625 lm and 115 m, with a slightly shorter run time in Standard mode. The phosphorized reflector emits a soft light in the dark.
The flashlight meets IPX4 certification, which means increased resistance to adverse weather conditions. Using red light, the user is less likely to attract insects. The flashlight's small size and weight allow it to be carried easily in a hiking backpack when not needed at the moment. The flashlight can be locked, to prevent accidental activation.
