Description
The Flashlight LED TFC1 from Walther is designed primarily for uniformed services. The housing is made of anodized aluminum. It is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. It meets the IPX8 standard characterized by water resistance at a depth of more than 1 meter.
The flashlight is equipped with a Luminus SST40 LED, which is capable of generating a maximum luminous flux of 1400 lumens. The power of the light output depends on the power supply used. It illuminates the area at a distance of up to 220 meters. A white LED flashes every minute to inform the user when the battery charge drops below 25%.
The TFC1 offers four white light brightness modes: 5, 50, 300, 1,400 lumens and an additional signal mode. The flashlight is distinguished from other models by its strobe mode. This mode will prove useful in situations where it is necessary to temporarily disorient and dazzle the enemy.
There are two buttons on the back of the flashlight. One of them is used to turn on and off and operate the signal light, while the other is responsible for switching the brightness, as well as the strobe mode. A nylon holster is included for easy carrying of the device, for example, clipped to a backpack. The removable stainless steel clip can be replaced with the included tactical ring.
The flashlight is powered by two CR123 batteries, which are included in the kit. It is possible to power it with an 18650 Li-Ion battery or a 21700 rechargeable battery, with which the maximum lumen output increases to 1,500 lumens. The flashlight has a memory module, which causes the last used mode to be activated when the device is restarted.
