Description
The Headlamp LED HLC2r from Walther is a device that can successfully serve as an angle flashlight. The housing is made of anodized aluminum, is distinguished by high resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. It meets the IPX6 standard characterized by water resistance. The flashlight is protected against a large stream of water flowing from different directions with a capacity of up to 100 liters per minute.
The device is equipped with a Luminus SST40 LED, which is responsible for the white light. It is capable of generating a maximum luminous flux of 1000 lumens. It illuminates the area at a distance of up to 150 meters. The red light beam is generated by a separate diode. Even light dispersion and increased illumination range is provided by an orange peel reflector that has pits and protuberances resembling an orange peel.
The HLC2r model offers five white light brightness modes: 5, 40, 150, 400, 1000 lumens and a signal mode. It is distinguished by an additional red light, which allows you to mark your position well and does not tire your eyesight. There is a large button on the back of the flashlight that allows you to adjust the intensity of the white light to suit your current needs. Above the red LED is a button that allows you to change its mode.
The flashlight is powered by a rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion battery, charged through the USB-C port, using the included cable. The USB port is protected by a rubber cap. A white LED flashes every minute to alert the user when the battery charge drops below 25%.
It comes with a perforated headband equipped with a mounting bracket. The flashlight can be used either as a headlamp, angle flashlight or handheld flashlight. It has a MOLLE-compatible clip for mounting on a backpack or tactical vest. It will find application for both everyday use and forest hiking.
